New in the permanent line!
You know when people say, “She’s so extra”? I still haven’t figured out if that’s a good or a bad thing. I think it’s a good thing…like saying “you’re the cat’s meow!”
I love that the packaging is the same color as the bullet.
Remember the LE MAC Liptensity Lipsticks from last fall? The Liptensities have totally different packaging than the regular MAC Lipsticks. Their brightly colored caps match the lipsticks inside, and the formula is majorly intense and pigmented. They lay down lots of color per swipe, and there are now 12 shades in the permanent line for $21 each.
Here’s a look at some of them…

As for the Lip Pencils, they’re completely new. There are 18 of them, also $21 each, and check it — they’re teardrop shaped.
Can’t say I’ve ever used a lip pencil that looks like these before, and the curves actually really do help them get into the corners.
I’m all about how creamy they feel, though. These super skinny pencils feel like they’re gliding. They’re just so soft and smooth… You know I love me some the old-school MAC Lip Pencils, but girl, sometimes they feel like punishment! — whereas these feel GOOD.

They can do more than just work as lipstick, too. You can line your lips with them, fill in your lips with them, dab some balm on top (or not). The sky’s the limit.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
P.S. Oh, my gosh! There are some close fires, babe! The closest one is about five miles from here, and I can see a smoke plume. Novato borders Sonoma County, and Napa County is right around here. It’s all grassy hills and oak trees. It’s super smokey now, and there are ashes falling. I’m checking this site here, and also have updates set up on my phone, to tell if we should evacuate.
I’m a little nervous, but Tabs is keeping me calm. I feel really bad for the people who live a few miles north of us. It’s been much, much worse up there. ?
At least it hasn’t been too windy today. That helps a lot. It was very windy last night, and that’s why the fires spread so quickly while people were asleep.
